reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew 7, 21-27
At that time, Jesus told his disciples: - "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.
that day many will say: 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name cast out demons, and we have not done in your name perform many miracles? "
I then I will declare: "I never knew. Depart from me, evil."
who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, it left the rivers, the winds blew and dumped into the house, but no sank, it was founded on rock.
who hears these words of mine and does not put into practice is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. The rain fell, it left the rivers, the winds blew and burst against the house, and collapsed completely. "
Word of the Lord.

In the great biblical admonition that crosses the entire Holy Scripture, we are invited to listen to God: "Hear, O Israel" ... "This is my beloved Son, listen to him. " The things he did say them: "God said, yourself," the remake through a word of redemption of his Son. There is therefore a secondary issue as to listen to God, and for this reason the Church calls us to listen together to talk about the Lord every Sunday.
tells us the book of Deuteronomy that God puts before us a blessing and a curse (Deut 11.18-28) and for pointing out that the reality in which we are living there is always a big question: how lies our freedom. And this is where we find a call that ultimately examines our attitude listener. Because so many ways we can listen to this loquens Deus, a God who has mouth and he knows and wants to speak. Sonarnos could point in the ear of your voice and music hum even know hidden in his story, and learn by rote even a prayer: "Lord, Lord ...", as the Gospel says wryly. And despite this, remain deaf to what God wants us to speak to us, do, alert, confirm or rebuke.
Sunday's Gospel brings us precisely to this set of freedom on which our quality listener stands the Lord who speaks. And come to ask what firm plastically build our lives, what, to whom and how we deliver our commitment when we give. If what is important in our life such as love, dreams, what they or what we strive to keep as a souvenir, we build on a quicksand that has no basis, is irresponsibly risking our life to be fatally vulnerable , dull, empty, meaningless and victim of improvisation or any unconscionable attack.
Play the Lord is to build on the rock, walk in the company of His Word gives us life, that shines in the dark valley in the midst of storms we are peaceful, which is able to soften our hardness of heart, and saves us from the truth lies. But such deep and sincere listening, is what translates into real life what he has heard from the lips of God, do not be content with hearing the Word but doers of what you have heard. What we are saying with their lips do not contradict our work and that they are a true reflection of what we have heard the Lord.
