Konnichiwa How To Say

Reborn ...

"Reborn" is one of the things that I think every time I pass by the Plaza de Gabriel Miró. few years ago we were faced with a dark square , while Now we see a square with a little more light. Architects have been installed there, the post office seems in the end will become the headquarters of Alicante (having gone through projects by the English Court and University of Alicante and others), and since there are not many " Payment women, "which obscured the area even more.

Its origin is in the eighteenth century, in a field open to the sea near the suburb of San Francisco, mentioned in a previous article . At first it was used as dry dock, hence the name of Plaza of the boats, but it will be after the construction of the last of the walled enclosures with which was the city of Alicante when the arena starts to resemble what it is today.
Already in the nineteenth century, once defined the limits of the square, began the process of development, design and landscaping of the central space. It attempted to reproduce a natural environment, placing a fountain dedicated to Neptune, which in turn was replaced by commemorating the waters brought from Sax. This last will be replaced by the current, The Waterboy Bañuls Vincent in 1918 (which he said was his favorite).

As I mentioned before, is a square that is in full renaissance and hopefully that will not be interrupted. Personally it's the place that I like to Alicante, and not only the vegetation that has only the buildings that surround . Buildings such as the College of Architects of Alicante (Jose Ramon Mas Font, 1882), recently restored, the Post Office Building (Luis Ferrero, 1916), it seems that, as I said before you post has been put back in use and which appeared a few months ago a series of proposals in the Information Daily, in which one of them build a glass dome on the top floor. But not just those larger buildings that make that place a square special but all the buildings that give a great taste . Within this series of buildings should be appointed headquarters near Seu Ombudsman. But with all this we have to appoint, with some regret, also the former Pharmacy Jaime Luna, right in front of the headquarters of the Ombudsman Seu, who not long ago is being converted into a furniture store kitchen (as Daily News of 20 minutes of 07.05.1923).

Today is a site to build, which is fronting three streets (Ojeda, San Fernando and Esplanade of Spain). From this side of the Plaza is not any property to stand out, so that I only hope that what we build (when they do, because as published in the newspaper came out with an extension) is not something out of tune, and not only the square but the sea front of Alicante. Continuing

usual, I propose a new building to place. This building has a peculiarity, the viewpoints of each level are different.

Greetings!

Posters For Fire Prevention

I liked ... Making a difference

... see on a street as central as Alfonso el Sabio has cleaned and painted the facade of a building . The building is located on the corner of Avenue and Street commented Del Segura.

I thought
worth commenting on the blog, it is not so normal to see how we do these things in Alicante. Possibly this is due to a lack of legislation on this, or certainly by the spill would cause such work in the community. Perhaps the latter would easier with some sort of subsidy by any government. The problem would come after the listing of such buildings.

In the present case, the said building will give more importance to a road that belonged to the second extensions of the city, while we understand the first as La Rambla. The building height is not excessive, it Avenue makes it not close, something that happens elsewhere. If I remember correctly, was stung Guardiola, who also designed the expansion of the Plaza de Toros, who intended that the building height did not exceed the width of the streets. The latter could not be carried out on the streets today, but if the avenues, which would make it more pleasant to walk through them. Francisco Figueras Pacheco described it in the Geography of the Kingdom of Valencia with the words: ... Street Alfonso the Wise, one of the most spacious and beautiful through the town, consisting of modern buildings and provided with trees and wide sidewalks, extending between the extension of this tour (referring to the Avenue of the station) and the beginning of the Calle San Vicente, the main street of the densely populated neighborhood of San Antón .

Well, as has become customary ... I'll see who puts this building. (having regard to the difficulty of the above, I put a lot easier).

Greetings!
